Overview

@ladyheehawpresents is a lively YouTube channel featuring the animated series, The Cracked Chronicles. The channel features episodes of this unique series, along with promotional shorts and parody music videos of iconic radio hits. A new spin-off series, Royally Cracked, will debut in the summer of 2024.

For this project, my roles included content creation and strategic promotion of the channel. By leveraging digital marketing best practices, I aimed to maximize the channel’s reach and increase audience engagement. As part of the team launching the channel’s new animated series, I managed multiple, overlapping projects including scripting episodes, storyboarding, and animations.

Channeling Out of Control

The YouTube channel @ladyheehawpresents, known for its unique and engaging content, faces challenges in achieving consistent audience growth and engagement on social media platforms. Despite having high-quality videos, the channel struggles with:

  1. Audience Engagement: Low interaction rates on social media posts, including likes, comments, and shares, limiting the channel's reach and visibility.

  2. Content Visibility: Ineffective use of social media algorithms, resulting in reduced organic reach and discoverability of new content.

  3. Brand Cohesion: Inconsistent visual and thematic branding across social media platforms, leading to a fragmented audience experience.

  4. Conversion Rates: Difficulty converting social media followers into YouTube subscribers and active viewers, impacting overall channel growth and monetization potential.

Objectives and Goals

  • Increase Subscribers: Achieve a 30% growth in subscribers over four months.

  • Boost Video Views: Attain a 20% increase in average views per video.

  • Enhance Engagement: Raise the average engagement rate (likes, comments, shares) by 30%.
